The most recognizable name in consumer-level 3D printing has updated their flagship product, the Replicator. The MakerBot Replicator 5th Generation.
The MakerBot Replicator 5th Generation hasn’t changed the game in terms of print quality, but they have added a ridiculous amount of features that go towards its ease of use, including a “smart” extruder, a slick-looking LCD screen, USB and Wi-Fi connectivity, and a camera to stream your build.
Overall, the Replicator 5th Generation isn’t a game-changer, but it does up the standards on what we should expect to see from 3D printing companies in the future as far as secondary features go.
